The Life of FRANK W VAN VLAIR
Frank W. VanVlair, 84, of 3932 Cornell St. died Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital of heart failure. Services will be at noon Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. VanVlair was born in Newton and lived in Des Moines more than 50 years. He was a retired machinist for New Monarch Machine and Stamping Co. and a member of Local 1513 of the International Association of Machinists.
Surviving are his wife, Fannie; a son, Pearl of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Peavey of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Andrews of Des Moines and Mrs. Clyde Millenge of Tracy; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
