The Life of IDA MAY SANDBERG
Ida May Sandberg, 84, of 2152 Capitol Ave., died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. A prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Sandberg was born in Memphis, TN and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a retired drug store clerk.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Johnson of Des Moines; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
