The Life of RONALD L FIELD SR.
Ron L. Field, Sr., 53, of 476 NW 69th Place, Ankeny, died of cancer Saturday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Field was born in Monroe, WI, and lived in Des Moines most of his life, moving to Ankeny two years ago. He was a diesel mechanic with Housby-Mack Trucking Co. and a member of Machinist Union Local and the Board of Trustees of the White House.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene; a daughter, Teresa Conradi; and a son, Ron, Jr., both of Des Moines; two brothers, Marshall, Jr. and Virgil; and a sister, Darlene Breit, all of Rockford, IL; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
