The Life of CARL M STROUD
Services for Carl M. Stroud, 59, of 385 NE Fifty-sixth Ave., who died of cancer Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Stroud was a tire builder for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. He was a member of Local 310 of the United Rubber Workers Union and the Independent Order of Foresters, and was a former scoutmaster and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita; three sons, Jim and Andrew of Des Moines and Michael of Rochester, MN; four daughters, Shelley Mogck of St. Patersburg, FL and JoAnne Stroud, Laura Johnson and Diane Harrington of Des Moines; a brother, Clyde of Moberly, MO; and a sister, Nellie Rose of St. Charles, MO.
Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
