The Life of EFFIE LILLIAN CASADY
Services for Mrs. Effie Preston Casady, 65, of 325 Leach Ave., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton-Lilly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Casady died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after a nine-month illness. Born at Wayland, she moved here from Fort Madison 36 years ago.
She formerly was employed at the Polk County Home for many years and previously worked for Automatic Retailers of America. She was a member of the First Methodist Church at Fort Madison.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Roberta Reeves, and a brother, George Conover, both of Des Moines, and two grandchildren.
