The Life of HAZEL MAY CROSS

Services for Hazel May Cross, 67, of 2500 Logan Ave., who died of cancer Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Cross was born in Colorado and lived most of her life in Des Moines.

She was cofounder and vice president of Sure Spot Co. and a member of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, Foster Grandparents Association and Volunteers for Retarded Children Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Edna May Bullard of Des Moines; two sons, Charles L. of Chatham, NY and Carl E of Boone; three sisters, Fern Chandler of Hannibal, MO, Edna Snook of Des Moines and Agnes Deaton of Louisville, KY; four brothers, Roland Brokaw of Los Angeles, CA, June Brokaw of Inglewood, CA, Carl Brokaw of Orlando, FL and Wesley Brokaw of Mitchellville; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
