The Life of ELISE M ASWEGAN
Elise M "Lizzie" Aswegan, 95, of the 3800 block of Ninth Street died of cancer Saturday at home. Services will be at 11:00 am. Tuesday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Aswegan was born in Germany and had lived in Des Moines since 1942. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Wasser, and two sons, Gerhart and Erwin, all of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
