The Life of FRANK LEE COX

Frank Lee Cox, 72, of Bishop Drumm Care Center in Johnston died of Alzheimer''s disease there Friday.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Cox had lived in Des Moines all his life.  He was a retired machinist with Ford Implement Co. and a member of First Church of the Open Bible.  He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry work.

Survivors include two sons, Alan of Des Moines and Jeff of Jefferson; a daughter, Jan Hougham of Altoona; eight brothers, Archie, Donald and Eugene, all of Des Moines, Arthur of Arizona, Mervin of Wisconsin, Norman of Panora, Richard of Johnston and Robert of Sioux City; a sister, Etta May Cox of Des Moines, five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
