The Life of BETTY B PARKER
Betty Parker, 78, died Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005, at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Betty was born March 10, 1927 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family and cooking for them. She also liked to crochet, enjoyed flowers, playing bingo and "the Boat."
Betty is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Bob) Burns; her six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Evelyn Garrison and Verna Musselman; and her companion, John Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Buck" Parker and her two sons, Dennis and Bill.
