The Life of JOYCE KAMPAS
Joyce R. Kampas, 83, of 1440 Pioneer Road died of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Kampas had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a retired registered nurse at Iowa Methodist Hospital and was a member of Jordan United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Paul T. of Des Moines; a daughter, Linda Brown of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Door of Faith.
