The Life of MARGUERITE CHAPMAN
Marguerite Chapman, 88, of 834 E 25th St, died of a heart ailment Saturday at the home of a relative at 2402 Des Moines St. The body will be cremated and memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial of the cremains at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Chapman was born in Kirksville, Mo., and had lived in Des Moines since 1915. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her son, James of Des Moines; two daughters, Marilyn Davenport of Des Moines, and Margaret DeHart of Union City, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call a half-hour prior to services Tuesday.
