The Life of RUSSELL LOWELL CHAPMAN
Services for Russell L Chapman, 63, of 3701 Crstmooor Place, who died of cancer Wednesday at Veterans Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Chapman was an estimator six years for Groves Sheet Metal Co., retiring six months ago because of illness. Born in Primghar, he moved here from Winterset 25 years ago. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his widow, Marguerite; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Roe and Marilyn Chapman; a son, James and a brother, Dr. C.E. Chapman, all of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Vera Ryan of Hemet, Cal. and three grandchildren.
