The Life of ELDA J BRAFFORD
Services for Mrs. Elda J Brafford, 82, of 5390 NE Fifth St. will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Park Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Brafford died of complications following surgery Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Born in Missouri, Mrs. Brafford also lived in Scranton before moving to Des Moines 54 years ago. She was a retired dry cleaning employee.
Survivors include her husband, Edward; a son, Clifford of Des Moines, a half-sister, Mrs. Pauline Hake, living int he state of Washington; three half-brothers, Oscar Dickey, Roy Dickey and Albert Dickey, all living in Nebraska; three grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Grandview Park Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Brafford was a member.
