The Life of EDWARD H MUNDAY

Edward H. Munday, 87, of 3419 E. Seventh St. died of Alzheimer's disease Monday at Granger Manor. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mel's Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Munday was born in Kewanee, Ill., and lived in Des Moines 60 years. He retired as a resident supervisor at the Polk County juvenile home and was an Army Veteran of World War II. Among survivors are his wife, Marie; a sister, Doris Reese of Des Moines; and a brother, Charles of Albuquerque, N.M. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and a vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus.
