The Life of EDNA MATILDA TOLAND
Services for Mrs. Edna M Toland, 81, of 3228 N Union St., will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She died of a stroke Monday at her home. She had been ill three months. She was a life-long resident of Des Moines and a member of Women of the World, Pythian Sisters and Macabees.
Mrs. Toland was a member of Ashbury Methodist Church for many years and recently was a member of Union Park Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, A. Raymond McKee; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Nickols, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Blanch Baughman, and a brother, Glenard Zimmerman, all of Des Moines; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
