The Life of JOHN ARTHUR AULT

J. Arthur Ault, 75, of 2258 N.E. 102nd Ave., Ankeny, died of a heart ailment Sunday at Des Moines General Hospital.  Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Ault was born in Elkhart and lived in Elkhart and Ankeny all his life.  He retired as an auto mechanic for Bill Moyers Chevrolet and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the International Association of Machinists Union.

Surviving are his wife, Grace; two daughters, Anne Gardner of Monument Beach, Mass., and Judith Ault of Los Angeles; two stepdaughters, Jilila Getner of Ankeny and Belinda Stroube of Olathe, Kan.; a stepson, Jeffery Smith of Des Moines; his mother, Hazel Ault of Ankeny; a brother, Bill of Federal Way, Wash.; three sisters, Marge Hargens of West Des Moines, Algaretta Beeler of Trenton, Mo., and Lucille Pfister of Kent, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present until 9 p.m. to meet with friends following a 6:30 p.m. Masonic service.  Memorial contributions may be made to East Side Church of the Nazarene.
