The Life of ELEANOR G PONTIOUS
Eleanor G. Pontious, 86, of 444 SE Philip St. died of pneumonia Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Cetner. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with cremation following.
Mrs. Pontious, a lifelong Des Moines resident, retired from Communcation Data Service and formerly workerd for Look magazine. She was a member of St. John''''s Lutheran Church.
Among survivors are six sisters, Vi Dondlinger, Thelma Graybill, Ruth Pontious, Goldie Wood, Juanita Mickel and Betty McAuley, all of Des Moines.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
