The Life of CLARENCE E HAMILTON

Clarence E. Hamilton, 79, of Altoona Manor Care Center, 200 Seventh Ave. SW, Altoona, died of a heart ailment there Friday.  Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetry.

The Rev. Mr. Hamilton was born in Shenandoah and had lived in Altoona four years.  He was the retired minister of Open Bible and Assemblies of God churches in Oelwein, Albia, Adel, Lacona, IL, and Milan, MO. and was a member of Sunshine Open Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Grace; three sons, David of Fouke, AK, Paul of Des Moines, and James of Webster City; two daughters, Esther Pryor and Ruth Ann Young, both of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. today and Monday.
