The Life of GERALD MICHAEL LEVEKE
Gerald Michael Leveke, 47, of 2724 E Ninth St. died of lung cancer Wednesday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Visitation Catholic Church, of which he ws a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Leveke had lived in Des Moines all of his life and was a machinist with Check All Valve.
Among survivors are his mother, Lavina Leveke, and a brother, Ron, both of Des Moines; and five sisters, Barbaret Bode of Algona, Dianna Nolin of Monroe, Susan Leveke of Des Moines and Patty Crawford and Judy Grett, both of Altoona.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House.
