The Life of VELMA L OFFIELD
Velma L. Offield, 94, was born December 8, 1909 in Humeston, Iowa and passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Abington on Grand. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 4 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Velma is survived by her daughter, Lois "Margy" (Lee) McMillen of Ames; brother Marvin (Wilma) Ellis of Weldon; sister, Elva Mae Keller of Humeston; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Offield and two daughters, Juanita Gilman and Genevieve Bring.
