The Life of PATRICIA RUTH SQUIRES RUBY
Patricia Ruth Squires Ruby, 64, of the 3400 block of Easton Boulevard died of a respiratory ailment Thursday at Broadlawns Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Ruby was born in Wacoma and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a retired nurse''''s aide with Nurse Force. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Ruby; seven sisters, Jean Archer of Van Meter, Lillian Bartlett, Jauwan Gregory and Delores Shephard, all of Des Moines, Virginia Bennett of Menlo, Sandra Carterr of Columbia, MO, and Margaret Rousseau of Trenton, MO; three brothers, Clifford Squires of Trenton,Frank Squires of Des Moines and Lyle Squires of Shenandoah; a grandchild; and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
