The Life of LESLIE HOWARD RUBY
Leslie Howard Ruby, 64, of 3424 Easton Blvd. died Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Ruby, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, was a retired mechanic for the state of Iowa and had also been employed at the I.D. Packing House. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; a daughter, Shirley Ruby, two brothers, Larry Sr., and Chester Jr. and a sister, Patricia Benton, all of Des Moines; a grandchild; and two step-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
