The Life of MABEL F MONTGOMERY
Mabel F. Montgomery, 87, of Luther Park Health Care Center, 1555 Hull Ave., died of complications of Alzheimer''s disease there Wednesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Montgomery was born in Hopeville and moved to Des Moines 52 years ago from Creston. She was a member of Berean Assembly of God Church and was a former employee of The Des Moines Register, Des Moines General Hospital and the Des Moines School District.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene; two sons, Paul Hillman of Clinton, AK, and Virgil Hillman of Des Moines; a sister, Edith Conklin of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
