The Life of LEROY E JACKSON
Graveside services for LeRoy E Jackson, 66, of Newton County, Ark., formerly of Carlisle, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson died of a heart attack Saturday at a campground in Newton County.
Born in Des Moines, Mr. Jackson lived in Carlisle for 24 years before moving to Arkansas five years ago. A retired truck driver for Bartholomew Brothers in Carlisle, he was a US Army veteran in World War II.
He is survived by a sister, Esther Vallejo, and two brothers, Charles R & Ray, all of Des Moines.
