The Life of MAUDE E WALKER
Maude E. Walker, 81, of Carlisle, died of pneumonia Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stover Memorial Church of the Brethren in Des Moines, of which she was a charter member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, also in Des Moiens.
Mrs. Walker was born in Waukee and had lived in Carlisle since 1974. She was a homemaker.
Suviving are three daughters, Katharyne Watson of Des Moines, Doris Kluesner of Ankeny and Colleen Worthington of Carlisle; a brother, George Bass of Blue Springs, MO; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
