The Life of LOREN CLAY LEONARD
Services for Loren C. Leonard, 71, of 3509 E Seventh St, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Arnold''s Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Mr. Leonard died Friday at Veterans Hospital of cardiac arrest after a year''s illness. He was born in Belle Plaine and lived in Des Moines 40 years. He was a mailman retiring in 1957.
A graduate of Drake University, Mr. Leonard also attended Highland Park College and Capital City Commercial College. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Matheson of Des Moines and two grandsons.
