The Life of LOUISE NEGRETE

Louise Negrete, 85, of the 600 block of Southeast 12th Street died of a heart ailment Wednesday at home.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guadalupe Chapel, of which she was a member.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Negrete was born in Bridgeport, TX, and had lived in Des Moines many years.  She was a retired outreach worker for the city of Des Moines, a volunteer interpreter at Mercy Hospital Medical Center and a member of Neighborhood Priority Board.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel; four daughters, Louise Aiken, Rosalie Blom, Virginia Ramirez and Christine Negrete, all of Des Moines; five sons, Albert of West Des Moines, Manuel Jr. of Sonoma, CA, and Richard, Anthnony and Nile, all of Des Moines; a brother, David Garcia of Tulsa, OK; 26 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchldren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today aat Hamilton''s Funeral Home, where a rosary will be receited at 7 p.m.
