The Life of JAMES BENJAMIN CRUCHELOW
James B. Cruchelow, 88, of 2915 Mahaska Ave. died of cancer Sunday at the Norwalk Manor Care Center in Norwalk following a lengthy illness.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A retired mechanic, Mr. Cruchelow was born in Runnells. He lived in Albia before moving to Des Moines 51 years ago and was a member of Grace Assembly Church.
Surviving are his wife, Blanche; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Abbott and Mrs. Elizabeth Breheny of Des Moines, and Mrs. Eddie Shapp of Sacramento, CA; a brother, Rex of Des Moines; a half-brother, Kenneth of Altoona; three half-sisters, Mrs. Eva Rutenbeck of Davenport, and Mrs. Margaret Barr and Mrs. Ruby Peterson, both of Moline, IL; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
