The Life of PAUL DOUGLAS JOHNSON

Paul Douglas Johnson, 52, of New Prague, Minn., died of injuries he sustained in an airplane accident Monday in Lakeville, Minn.  there will be two services.  Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. today at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague, of which he was a member.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born in Ankeny and had lived there most of his life, moving to Minnesota in 1979.  He was a commercial pilot for US Air.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; two sons, Marty of Burnsville, Minn., and Sean of Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Wendy Barnum of Lafayette, Ind.; his mother, Martha Johnson of Ankeny; and a brother, Bruce Johnson of Panama City, Fla.

The family will greet friends from 4 p.m. until service time today at the church in New Prague and from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church in Ankeny.  Arrangements are being handled by Ankeny Funeral Home.
