The Life of EMMA E OLSEN
Services for Emma Olsen, 80, of 914 Boyd Ave., who died of arteriosclerosis Friday at Central Iowa Lutheran Home, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Luther Memorial Church, with burial at Highland Memorial Gardens.
A native of Aggersund, Denmark, Mrs. Olsen lived in Des Moines since 1921. She was a member of Luther Memorial Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; three sons, Berger and Harold of Des Moines and Donald of Rochester, MN; two daughters, Elsie Johansen and Mary Riber, both of Des Moines; three sisters, Matilda Olsen of La Crescenta, CA, and Anna Kornum and Nina Hoyer, both living in Denmark; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 until 9 p.m. today at Dahlstrom Funeral Home.
