The Life of CARL OLSEN
Services for Carl Olsen, 91, of 914 Boyd St., who died Saturday of complications following surgery at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Luther Memorial Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Olsen was born in Denmark, and he lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was the retired owner of Olsen Egg Co., and a member of Danish Brotherhood.
Survivors include three sons, Berger and Harold both of Des Moines, and Donald of Rochester, MN; two daughters, Elsie Johansen and Mary Riber, both of Des Moines; a sister, Katrine Andersen of Denmark; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Luther Memorial Church of which he was a member.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home.
