The Life of DONALD LEE PARKER
Donald L. Parker, Sr., 56, of 601 SE Miller Ave., died of cancer Saturday at his home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
A native of Oskaloosa, Mr. Parker lived in Des Moines most of his life. A graduate of East High School, he was a pressman at Meredith Publishing Co. for 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine; two sons, Gary of Des Moines and Donald Jr. of Orange, CA; his mother, Ferol of Des Moines; a brother Robert of Lincoln, NE; one sister, Dorothy Samuelson of Des Moines; and five granddaughters.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
