The Life of DEAN L HOLLINGSWORTH

Dean L. Hollingsworth, 62, of 510 SW Maple St., Ankeny, died of a heart attack Wednesday in Jonesburg, MO.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ankeny First United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Hollingsworth as born in Woodward and lived in the Ankeny area most of his life.  He owned an implement dealership near Altoona and later retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.  Since retirement he had been an over-the-road truck driver.  He was a member of the Methodist Church and United Rubber Workes union.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; three daughters, Lorraine Summy of Ankeny, Sandra Goodman of Largo, FL, and Lielah Cox of Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Barbara Adams of Alamagordo, NM; two stepsons, Gregory Johnson and Dennis Johnson, both of Des Moines; a sister, Vida Hollingsworth of Perry; a brother, Walter of Boone; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The famnily will visit with friends from 5 to 8 .m. today at Ankeny Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.>>
