The Life of DALE EARL HALLWAY

Dale Earl Hallway, 75, of the 8600 block of Urbandale Avenue, Urbandale, died of cancer Monday at home.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Hallway was born in Des Moines and had lived in Urbandale for 43 years.  He was the retired owner of Adel-Des Moines Heating and Cooling and a Navy veteran of World War II.  He was a member of Windsor Heights Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.  He enjoyed woodworking and flowers.

He is survived by his wife, Floy; two daughters, Ginger Cox of Grimes and Cheryl Cowden of Waukee; a son, Preston of Des Moines; two sisters, Gloria Abrahamson of Des Moines and Betty Burkman of Badger; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
