The Life of GOLDA IRENE COX
Services for Golda Irene Cox, 77, of the Americana Health Care Center, 300 Laurel St., who died of a respiratory ailment Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox was a lifelong Des Moines resident and member of the Highland Park Garden Club.
Survivors include a son, Melvin C. of Des Moines; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Quick, Mrs. Lavaun Gilbert and Christina Carlson, all of Des Moines, and Mrs. Beulah Kempton of Punta Gorda, FL; three brothers, Alva and Kenneth Carlson, both of Ankeny, and Vernon Carlson of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday.
