The Life of JOHN LEROY MOORE
Services for John L. Moore, 72, of 3946 Clinton Ave. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Moore died Monday of cirrhosis of the liver at Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Born in Oquawka, Ill., Mr. Moore lived in Des Moines 68 years. He was the retired owner of John Moore Electric Co. and a member of Acanthus Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar Commandery, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Beaverdale Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Des Moines Home Builders Association.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Carol Rivas and Sherry Coulson, both of Des Moines; a son, John Jr. of Ormand Beach, Fla.; a sister, Shirley Lubberden of Des Moines; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
