The Life of JOHN M JEFFRIES
John M. Jeffries, 73, of 1112 Creston Ave. died of a heart ailment Monday at his home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Jeffries was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and a retired pressman for The Bankers Life Co. He recently had worked as a pressman at Koch Brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Dixie of Des Moines; two brothers, Harold of Des Moines and Ivan of Aurora, Mo.; and three sisters, Dorothy Ellenwood of Arvada, Colo., Evelyn Sanford of Denver, Colo., and Mary Bush of Brookshire, Texas.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
