The Life of JOHN HENRY TOLLENAAR
Services for John Henry Tollenaar, 60, of 6640 NW Sixth Dr. will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Saylorville Baptist Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Tollenaar died of a heart attack Tuesday at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orlando, FL, where he was vacationing.
Mr. Tollenaar was born in Washington, Iowa and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was the owner of the Ober-Tallenaar Construction Co. of Ankeny and was a member of the Saylorville Baptist Church. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Maryllin; a son, Dennis of Salem, OR; a daughter, Mrs. Diana Ober of Earlham; three brothers, Robert of Des Moines, Ralph of Omaha, NE and William of Portland OR; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Barnes of Pacific Grove, CA, Mrs. Thelma Jones of Winterset and Mrs. Shirley Swim of Topeka, KS and two grandchildren.
The body is at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
