The Life of WILLIAM FREDERICK BURR
Services for William F. Burr, Sr., 53, of 4139 Eleventh St., will be at 1 p.m. today at the Highland Park Christian Church with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
Mr. Burr, a cement mason, died at work Saturday following a stroke. A life-long Des Moiens resident, he was a past Boy Scout troop leader of Highland Park Troop 31 and 32 and was a member of the Cement Masons Local Union 21. Mr. Burr was also a member of the Highland Park Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene; two sons, Ed Wild of Des Moines and William Lewis Burr, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Kuhns of Des Moines and Kelly Sue Burr, at home; his mother, Mrs. Martha Burr of Des Moines; four brothers, Dick and Jim, both of Des Moines, Don of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Bob of California; and a sister, Dorothy Skidmore of Des Moines.
