The Life of GALE A SHEDENHELM

Gale A. Shedenhelm, 55, of Ankeny died of a heart attack Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Shedenhelm was a native of Garwin.  He lived in Belle Plaine before moving to the Des Moines and Ankeny areas 27 years ago.  He was vice president of Little Giant Crane and Shovel, Inc. and a member of the Auburn Masonic Lodge, the Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Boline-Manfredi Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9662.  He was also a director of the Highland Memory Gardens Association.

Surviving are his wife, Stella; four sons, Gale of Des Moines, Kenneth of Omaha, NB, and Larry and Randy, both of Perry; two brothers, Cecil of Belle Plaine and Duane of Lime Springs; four sisters, Mrs. Maryglene Yetley of Marshalltown, Mrs. Juanita Fisher of Garwin, Mrs. Evelyn Nace of Victor and Mrs. Betty Carlson of Brandon; his mother, Mrs. Myrene Shedenhelm of Belle Plaine; and 11 grandchildren.
