The Life of PETE JOHN KLISARES
Services for Pete Klisares, 65, of 4036 Fifth Ave., who died of uremic poisoning Thursday at Broadlawns General Hospital, will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Arnold''s Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Klisares operated Pete''s Lunch at 108 Sixth Ave. for 21 years, retiring in 1950, then worked five years at Des Moines Steel Co. A native of Argos, Greece, he came here 40 years ago from Kankakee, IL. He was a member of Highland Park Christian Church.
Surviving are his widow Lorna; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Munzenmaier of Des Moines; three sons, Donald of Peoria, IL, Robert of Des Moines and Pete, Jr., a student at Simpson College; a sister, Mrs. Viola Psomopolou of Argos, and five grandchildren.
