The Life of CATHERINE B BRANNEN
Services for Mrs. Catherine B. Brannen, 90, of 3619 SW Fourth St., who died of a stroke Saturday at the home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Brannen, who had been ill three weeks, was born in Ireland and had lived in Des Moines the last 72 years. She resided at SE Twenty-second street and Evergreen avenue many years before moving to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maxine Brewster, at the SW Fourth St. address.
Also surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Margaret Magno, of Santa Clara, CA; two sons, Paul Brannen of Kansas City, MO, and Fred Brannen of Monroe; two step-daughters, Mrs. Helen Gilchrist of Des Moines and Mrs. Ruth Kirk of Ivy; a step-son, D.C. Brannen of Buhl, ID; a sister, Mrs. Mary Sedlatzeck of Rockton, IL, and 21 grandchildren.
