The Life of LOIS DIANE ARTWEIN

Lois D. Artwein, 35, of 1709 S.W. Kenyon Ave., a registered nurse, died of a pulmonary ailment Monday at Mercy Medical Center.  Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Church.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Artwein was born in Allentown, Pa., and had lived in Springfield, Mo., before moving to Des Moines nine years ago.  She was an employee of Mercy Hospital Medical Center and was a member of Christ the King Church, Altar and Rosary Society and was cub master of Cub Scout Pack 1.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen; three sons, Scott, Mark and Michael, all of Des Moines; her parents, Helen and Thomas Seaman of Allentown, Pa.; a brother, Richard Seaman of Allentown; a sister, Barbara Mantz of Allentown; and her grandmother, Anne Hargat of Allentown.

Friends may call today at Southtown Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy Foundation at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.
