The Life of PETER BRUHN
Services for Peter Bruhn, 83, of 3806 Easton Blvd., will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bruhn died of cancer Wednesday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital after a six-week illness. He was a dredge operator for 17 years for the Des Moines Sand and Gravel Co., retiring in 1954.
Born in Germany, he lived in Sigourney before moving to Des Moines 26 years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice McGruder of Chicago; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
