The Life of JOHN ARCHIE HEATH

Services for John A. Heath, 78 of 1353 Boyd Ave. will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Heath died Sunday of a heart ailment at Des Moines hospital. Born in Rutledge, he lived in Des Moines 39 years. He was a retired emplyee of Meredith Corp. and was a guard at the Iowa State Fairgrounds Army Air Corps Depot in World War II. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Melcher Masonic Lodge AF&AM 524. Survivors include his wife, Florence; a son, John C. of Des Moines; two daughters, Dolores Mertz of Webster and Aileen Lawrence of Waterloo; a brother, Richard of Knoxville; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
