The Life of CLAUDIA GENE DALES
Claudia Gene Dales, 50, of the 4200 block of Boyd Street died of cancer Saturday at Mercy Hospice-Johnston. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Dales had lived in Des Moines all her life. She had been an office manager with Clark Glass Inc. and was a member of Delaware Township Fire Department Women''s Auxiliary. She had been active with Girl Scouts and enjoyed crafts, sewing and animals.
She is survived by her husband, Danield; a daughter, Tori Worley, a son, Derek Dales, her parents, Marilyn and Marvin Overton, and a brother Gregory Overton, all of Des Moines; a sister, Stephanie Mabe of Edina, MN; and a stepgrandchild.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
