The Life of CLARENCE D ROBERTS
Clarence D. Roberts, 83, of the 500 block of North Walnut Blvd., Pleasant Hill, died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mitchellville Care Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. The body will be cremated following services.
Mr. Roberts was born in Wayne County and had lived in Des Moines since 1959. He had worked as a supervisor of construction for John Grubb Homes before retiring and was a member of First Grace Brethren Church. He enjoyed woodworking and building cabinets.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; three sons, Albert of Des Moines, Dale of Lawton, OK, and Richard of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Paramedics.
