The Life of ROBERT KENNETH VICKROY
Services for Robert K. Vickroy, 53, of 3405 Linworth Lane, a retired U.S. Navy commander who died of a heart ailment Monday at Mercy Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Vickroy, born near Chariton was in the Navy 30 years and retired in September, 1966, and lived in Jacksonville, Fla., until moving to Des Moines about six months ago. He was a member of a Waukegan, Ill., Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis M.; two sons, Robert of Concord, Calif. and Randall of Jacksonville; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Hughes of Gilman City, MO., Mrs. Dorothy Reeves of Milo and Mrs. Cleo Griffiths of Des Moines; two brothers, Orval of Cresco and Harold of Charleston, Ill.; and a grandson.
