The Life of MARK ALLEN THIMMESCH

Mark Allen Thimmesch, 35, of the 8100 block of Hardwicke Drive, Johnston, died of asphyxiation Sunday at his father-in-law''s home in Johnston.  The death was ruled a suicide.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Thimmesch was born in Des Moines and had lived in Ankeny and St. Louis before moving to Johnston two years ago.  He was a software engineer at John Deere Credit Union and a member of Walnut Hills United Methodist Church.  He loved to be with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; three daughters, Stephanie, Sara and Jolene Thimmesch, all of Johnston; his mother and stepfather, LeNora and Roger Coe of Ankeny; and two sisters, Jean Miner and Ann Thimmesch, both of Ankeny.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Mark Thimmesch Memorial Fund.
