The Life of HARVEY R BOGENRIEF
Harvey R. Bogenrief, 90, of Wesley Acres, 3520 Grand Ave., died of complications of a stroke Saturday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bogenrief was born in Alleman and had lived in Des Moines since 1920. He was a retired attorney and a member of First Christian Church, Home Masonic Lodge, Polk County and Iowa State Bar Associations and the Des Moines Power Boat Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille; a son, George of West Des Moines; two daughters, Mary Sue Parker of West Des Moines and Janet Edwards of Carroll; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House.
